Culture Camp
In the fall, TRFCC hosts a Chinese Culture Camp at Oglebay Resort in West Virginia.
Children and parents will experience Chinese culture through educational programs and fun activities tailored to each age group. Develop friendships, make new connections, and increase your awareness of our wonderful heritage. We are thrilled to present this camp in cooperation with the Chinese-American community in Pittsburgh.
All age groups and all family structures are invited – there is something for everyone. Activities are tailored to the age group. Camp fun may include:
— Crafts, traditional dance, gym and games
— Chinese cooking, introduction to Chinese calligraphy, yo-yo, martial arts and more!
— Welcoming Potluck Reception & Game night
— S’mores galore at the campfire every night!
— A catered Chinese dinner that is sure to delight your taste buds!

Facilities and Lodging
The site of camp will be at a historic lodge at Olgebay Resort in West Virginia. Our facilities include two outdoor pavillions, the lodge, full professional kitchen, modern indoor restrooms and a beautiful lawn overlooking the mountains.
Bunkbed cabins are included in your registration fee. Each cabin sleeps 16 people, and has 3 toilet stalls and 3 showers. Other options are available at your expense — visit www.oglebay-resort.com or www.wheelingcvb.com to learn more. The cost of camp remains the same, even if you choose to stay at a hotel or just come for the day.
